Refund policy

Overview

All LayerWeaver products are 3D printed in small batches or made to order. Because of the handcrafted nature of our products, we have a limited return window. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept return requests in the following cases:

  • The item arrived damaged or broken due to shipping.
  • You received the wrong item - different product or colour than ordered.
  • The item has a manufacturing defect (e.g. a significant print failure).

⚠️ Claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Personalised or custom-made products (nameplates, number plate keychains, etc.).
  • Items returned without prior approval.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, dropping, or mishandling after delivery.

Refund Process

Once your return request is approved:

  • For damaged or wrong items, we will either send a replacement or issue a full refund - your choice.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
  • For prepaid orders, the refund will be credited back to your bank account or UPI.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

How to Raise a Request

To initiate a return or refund, contact us within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Or email us at admin@layerweaver.com with the subject line "Return Request - [Order ID]".

We will respond within 1 business day.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for non-personalised items if the wrong colour was sent or if the item arrived damaged. Reach out to us and we'll sort it out.
